Frequently Asked Questions

The game takes up my whole screen. Can I change this?

To shrink the size of the screen, simply click on “options”, then on “settings” and unmark the box labeled “full screen mode.” Alternatively, you can change the resolution settings on your computer through the Control Panel. (We recommend first trying to make the change through the software instead of through Windows.)

Is there a way I can enlarge my chat window?

You can change the size of the chat window just as you would any other regular program window. Place the cursor of your mouse on the corner of the window and just click and drag to enlarge or shrink to your desired size.

How can I change the font size inside the chat room?

Underneath the list of active players inside the chat room is a plus and a minus sign. In order to increase the size of the font simply click on the plus sign (+) and in order to decrease the size of the font simply click on the minus sign (-).

What does 'Pages' mean?

In order to see all the cards you have purchased for each game, you need to use the Pages function. It is possible to see up to 27 cards per page in 75-ball bingo and up to six strips (or 36 tickets worth) in 90-ball bingo.

If you have purchased more than 27 cards you will be able to view multiple pages by clicking on the tabs that will appear. You will be able to view up to 4 extra pages.

How can I see my game history?

We offer the ability to see your past game history. When you click on the “game history” button you will be able to view your game history even while you are in another game.

Can I deposit money without leaving the game?

You can deposit funds mid-game by clicking on the “Cashier” button. From the Cashier you can deposit into your account without leaving the game you are playing in.

Our multi-screen function means you can quickly and easily make a deposit without missing out on any of the action.

My internet disconnected, am I still in the game?

Yes! We offer a unique feature called “Disconnection Protection” that keeps you in the game even if your internet should cut out or your computer restart unexpectedly. When you come back into the software and re-join the game, your cards will remain until the current game you are in is finished. If you have purchased cards for the game, you will not lose them (or any wagers you have placed.) Our card manager will automatically play your cards through any disconnection (even in the rare event of a disconnection taking place on our end!)

I want to play! How can I buy cards?

If you are in a game and want to keep ahead by buying cards for the next game, just click on the button labeled “Next Game” that’s found on the bottom right hand corner of the game screen. In this window you can see the details of the upcoming game and select the number of cards you wish to purchase for the next game.

We allow you to Pre-Buy for upcoming games (so even if you’ll be away from your computer, you can leave the software running and come back to see what you’ve won while you were away!) Each player has the option to buy up to three hours in advance for regular games and up to one WEEK in advance for special games! To make a Pre-Buy purchase, click on the tab labeled “Pre-Buy”, select the game(s) you choose and click on the button marked “Buy” on the left side of the screen. (The “Pre-Buy” window will pop-up displaying all the relevant information on the game(s) you have chosen in addition to any promotions that may apply.)

After you select and purchase (by clicking on the “Buy” button) you’ll be able to also buy in advance in this same window games by checking off the games you’re interested in and clicking on either the “Any Price” or “Same Price” buttons.

For the Special games that have Pre-Buy options well in advance (usually a week) check the bottom of the game list in the “Buy Cards” window.

Even if your computer has been turned off… once you have purchased cards the game will automatically play for you and even if your computer is OFF or even if you are away from the computer, any game winnings you have are automatically credited to your account.

I have bingo! How can I call it?

Bingo is called automatically once you reach Bingo. No need for any extra work!

Is there a way to tell how many players are in the game?

When you click on the “Pre-Buy” button you will be able to see the number of players that are in each game. Alternatively, you can click on the “Bingo Halls” button to see a list of players that are in each game (per hall.)

"XX balls to bingo" - What does this mean?

“XX balls to bingo” is an optional function (click on the “Options” button to turn this feature off) that shows you how many balls the best card in the game is away from bingo. (This just adds to the “suspense” factor of the competition – if you don’t need it to enjoy the game, just turn it off!)

Can I play side games like slots while I’m playing Bingo?

Yes! You can play any of our side games (slots, scratchers, video poker, etc) and play Bingo at the same time! When you click on the button labeled “More Games”

Yes you can. In fact you can play any of our other games such as Slots, Scratchers and Video Poker while still playing Bingo. You can even rearrange the windows so that you can enjoy playing multiple games at one time!

What can I do during the game to check how I’m doing?

Bingo Day offers you some great visual aids to help track your progress during the game!

First, click on the tab labeled “Options” and click on the button labeled “Soft Cards”. This will enable you to see your current top 3 cards.

As you get closer to reaching Bingo, written on your card, you will see “3 to go!” “2 to go!” and so on… Also, the top/borders of each card will change colors to reflect how close you are to Bingo – Guide: Blue = 3 balls away, Green = 2 balls away, Red = 1 ball away and Gold = BINGO!

Can you explain how the prize money works?

Bingo Day pays out 100% cash for all prizes and jackpots. We do not pay out bonus money or a part bonus money, part cash (pay attention because many competing rooms do not pay out 100% cash!) The prize is calculated based on how many cards you play during a given game. The “pot” is divided between the prize money paid out for the game and feeding one or more progressive jackpots. This means that the more people who are playing online at a given time, the larger the jackpot will be! As well as progressive jackpots, you will also find set jackpots during special events/games. You can also win great prizes alongside or instead of cash during some of our special events/games such as entertainment equipment, vacation packages, etc.

How many people do I play against normally?

This depends upon the number of players online at a given time. Because Bingo Day hosts players from across the globe, you’re always likely to find a healthy crowd playing any time of day or night, in any time zone! Each game shows the number of players currently playing in that game and normally the number stays consistent. Player volume tends to increase during special games with fixed jackpots or prizes.

Can I chat to the other players who are playing?

Yes! We encourage player chat as we feel this is part of what makes online bingo so much fun! Other forms of online gaming don’t allow this feature as it’s not an integral part of the gaming culture, bingo however, is unique in this aspect and we feel it’s part of what makes the game so special.

You can chat with players from across the globe (in English) inside the main chat room and once you meet new friends, we allow for private chat between players as well.

Inside the chat room, you can also play in our fantastic chat games, win prizes and make friends all while you’re still playing bingo!!

When I reach Bingo – what happens next?

As discussed above, as you approach bingo, your cards begin to change color. Once you reach Bingo and your card turns gold, you will be notified that you have reached Bingo!

While most of our veteran brick and mortal bingo hall players still tend to shout out “BINGO” you don’t really have to on the online version. The beauty of modern technology takes care of everything for you! The software automatically shows that you have won and counts your win (and puts the money you’ve won into your balance!)

It doesn’t matter which bingo game or hall you are playing in, you will always be notified of your win (even if you are in different halls or games or even if you’re playing side games like slots or keno, etc!) When the jackpot is won, an announcement goes out to all players (again, regardless of where they are in the software.)

I won! Why did I only get half the shown prize amount?

This means simply that you’ve tied with another player! Because of the timing involved with winning a round of bingo, this doesn’t happen very often yet sometimes lady lucks winks at more than just one… (perhaps she’s just twitching?) If two players win the same game, the prize is split and the prize can be split between multiple people.

So how much can I actually win?

There is no limit to the amount of money you can win at Bingo Day. As most of our jackpots are progressive and most start off with at least $1000.00 this means that they just grow from the original amount of $1000.00 with every game that’s played until someone wins. At Bingo Day we average one progressive jackpot winner per day (at least!!) We have games going ‘Round the Clock” and cash prizes are given away for every single game. The sky’s essentially the limit! (That and how much free time you have…

I won the Jackpot!!! What’s next?

First of all, congratulations!!

Now, you have a few different alternatives at this point and the choice is entirely up to you. You can immediately withdraw all your funds, but we recommend leaving in a small amount to play with as it takes a few days for the money to be wired to you. Most of our players usually leave some of their winnings in for future play.

Remember that upon making a withdrawal, any bonus money that you haven’t played, or any money in your Bonus Reserve that haven’t been converted yet from wagering will be removed. If you don’t want to lose that money, use those funds first and then make your withdrawal. .

I’m ready to cash out! Where can I withdraw my money?

Withdrawals and deposits are both done through the Cashier. Simply click on the Cashier button inside the software and click on the Withdrawal page. Here you will find a list of all the different methods of withdrawal that are available to you. We recommend reading through them and deciding which is the best option for you. (Should you have any questions at this point, don’t hesitate to give us a call!)

The tab marked “Pending Withdrawals” shows the withdrawals you have requested that are still being processed. There is a period of 4 days for pre-processing where Bingo Day looks into the security aspects of each players account to verify that everything is in order. During this period, you can cancel the withdrawal request to transfer the money back into your account. However, once this period has passed, it is impossible to cancel the withdrawal. For our VIP players, this processing time is less.

Is playing bingo online legal?

We are an international company and we operate online granting access to players across the globe. However, we do now know the laws for every jurisdiction in the world and highly recommend checking with your local authorities to find out the exact law in your jurisdiction and acting in accordance with those regulations.

I’m having technical problems. Who do I turn to?

The first thing you should do is see if you can speak with one of our Chat Masters inside the chat room. If there is a high chat volume and it’s impossible during that time for the Chat Master to help you with your problem (or if it’s a complicated problem that is easier to handle over the phone) please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service department via telephone. A list of numbers can be found here.
